Letter to the Editor: TKS’ humor offensive once again

Once again, in a search for humor TKS ends up in the territory of the offensive. I refer, of course, to the headline on Merritt Rohlfing’s article on the Women’s Volleyball Team. The painful lessons of past years seem not to have reached everyone on your staff. Whoever wrote the headline should take steps towards personal maturity and towards responsible journalism. One mistake greatly overshadows the many good articles in your paper. In an election year the temptations to indulge in the vulgar will be multiple and persistent. As editor, I hope you will inspire TKS and its writers to reach high standards. Your readers are looking for quality.
