January 21

2:30 p.m. WELL-BEING CHECK, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety checked on the well-being of a visitor at the request of a relative.

January 22

2:35 a.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS, Fleming Fieldhouse. Campus Safety received a complaint of unauthorized juveniles using the gym.

4:36 p.m. NOISE, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music and subjects.

5:18 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by steam from a shower.

7:13 p.m. THEFT, Main Campus Grounds. The Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety received a report of items stolen from an unlocked vehicle on West Street.

January 23

9:10 p.m. THEFT, Center for Teaching and Learning Parking Lot. Campus Safety received a report of flashlight and pocketknife taken from vehicle parked in lot.

9:15 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

10:40 p.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Hamblin Hall. During a building check, Campus Safety discovered a ‘Beer Pong’ type game in progress. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

10:50 p.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Hamblin Hall. Another ‘Beer Pong’ type game discovered in progress. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

January 24

1 a.m. THEFT, Post Hall. Student reported their car was broken into and the radio damaged to the Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety.

1:05 a.m. MEDICAL, Post Hall. Student was transported for treatment of foot injury.

10:02 p.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, 284 W. Tompkins. The Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety received a report from a student whose car was egged and the gas cover damaged.

January 25

2:15 a.m. NOISE, Simonds. Campus Safety responded to a report of someone banging on a suite door.

8:12 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Furrow House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

January 26

2:25 a.m. WELL-BEING CHECK, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety checked on a student’s well-being. The matter was later referred to the Office of Student Development.

7:25 p.m. INFORMATION, Main Campus Grounds. A student reported a suspicious incident.

January 27

11 a.m. MEDICAL, 516 S. West. A student was transported for treatment.

11:45 a.m. LOST ITEM, Main Campus Grounds. A student reported a lost cell phone to Campus Safety.
