MARCH 2

10:36 a.m. ANIMAL COMPLAINT, Main Campus Grounds. A fox was reported in the area of Seymour Union.

11:51 a.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Seymour Hall. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm activated by a dirty detector. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

MARCH 3

4:35 p.m. INFORMATION, Elder House. A student reported possible harassment. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

9:50 p.m. 911 HANG-UP, 240 W. Tompkins. Public Safety Building reported a 911 hang-up call from the outside emergency phone. The area was checked and no problems were found.

11:08 p.m. NOISE, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 4

10:30 a.m. INFORMATION, Main Campus Grounds. Information regarding a civil no-contact order was obtained by a student.

12 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety received a report of a suspicious person.

NOISE, Elder House. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects.

2 p.m. INFORMATION, Fleming Fieldhouse. Campus Safety received a report of unwanted subjects.

11:11 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a fire extinguisher being discharged.

MARCH 5

12:10 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Seymour Hall. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a pull station.

12:40 a.m. INFORMATION, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety received a complaint of people smoking in the building. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:05 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Post Hall. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

2:22 a.m. FIRE ALARM, 516 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

9:40 a.m. ANIMAL COMPLAINT, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety received a complaint of a fox on the Gizmo Patio.

1:15 p.m. INFORMATION, Williston Hall. A student was transported to Health Services.

4:40 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a dirty detector. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

MARCH 7

12:40 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Hamblin Hall. An unauthorized party with alcohol violations was noticed. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Hamblin Hall. Underage alcohol consumption was noted. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:40 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Main Campus Grounds. A student was in public with open alcohol. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

6:51 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student after a 911 call went in to the Public Safety Building from their cell phone.

7:05 a.m. SAFETY CONCERN/HAZARD, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. Fire code violations were noticed. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

9:25 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

10:45 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, George Davis Hall. Evidence of alcohol violations was reported. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

3:21 p.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm possibly activated by a malfunctioning detector.

9:35 p.m. MEDICAL, Seymour Hall. A student was transported back to their dorm after becoming ill. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

11:15 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety received several calls reporting a suspicious person on a bike taking pictures of students in the area of the Quads. The person was described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old and possibly with brunette hair and a goatee. The Galesburg Police Department was also called and the campus and surrounding area were checked but the person was not located.

MARCH 8

12:20 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Furrow House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

1:10 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Library. A wallet was found and returned to a student.

10 a.m. INFORMATION, Post Hall. Campus Safety received a report of a suspicious person using the ATM in the lobby.

MARCH 9

12:20 p.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

4:55 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Peterson House. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

MARCH 10

12:20 a.m. INFORMATION, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of smoking in the building.

9:50 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Raub House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

2:18 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Seymour Hall. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a pull station.

9:40 p.m. INFORMATION, 530 S. West. Galesburg Police Department was called by Campus Safety in regards to an intoxicated Galesburg resident walking down South West Street.

MARCH 11

12:08 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Sherwin House. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student at the request of other students. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:45 a.m. THEFT, Sherwin House. A bike was reported stolen from the bike rack outside of Sherwin.

1:55 p.m. MEDICAL, Post Hall. A student was transported to Cottage Hospital Emergency Room for treatment. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 12

3:15 p.m. THREATS, 675 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a report of threats. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

10:20 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Fleming Fieldhouse. Blue jeans containing a wallet and other items were found by custodial staff and turned in to Campus Safety.

MARCH 13

11:20 a.m. FIRE ALARM, 675 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by someone smoking in the house. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

SAFETY CONCERN/HAZARD, 675 S. West. A smoke detector was found covered. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

11:55 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Williston Hall. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 14

12:50 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Furrow House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

1:05 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Sellew House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

1:10 a.m. INFORMATION, Raub House. A student remained in the building during a fire alarm. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

5:45 a.m. NOISE, 251 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a report of loud subjects.

MARCH 15

9:45 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, S. West St.- 600 Block. Tires were slashed on a vehicle in the Casa Latina parking lot.

2:30 p.m. WELL BEING CHECK, International House- 418 S. West. Well being check. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 16

10 a.m. INFORMATION, Post Hall. Information was received on an item possibly lost or stolen.

10:30 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Library. A student was stuck in an elevator. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

2:30 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Heating Plant. A bag containing baseball equipment was left open in a rental vehicle.

5:30 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Memorial Gym. A watch was found in classroom 200.

MARCH 17

11:36 p.m. FIRE ALARM, International House- 418 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

MARCH 18

3:15 p.m. BURGLARY, Tau Kappa Epsilon House. A 52” Sharp television was taken.

MARCH 19

11:12 a.m. INFORMATION, Post Hall. An off-campus person was denied access to the lobby.

6:10 p.m. INFORMATION, Old Main. A Galesburg resident was warned to stay off campus.

MARCH 20

10:35 p.m. WELL BEING CHECK, 251 S. West. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student at the request of a friend. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 21

1:10 a.m. NOISE, Post Hall. Campus Safety responded to a noise complaint.

MARCH 23

9:51 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Post Hall. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

MARCH 24

8:25 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Beta Theta Pi. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

MARCH 25

9:35 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Sherwin House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

10:50 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Hall. A blue love seat was reported missing from Sandburg Lounge.

4 p.m. INFORMATION, ASC- 268 S. Prairie. Unsolicited mail was received by several people on campus.

MARCH 27

4:40 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Hall. An unsecured door was reported.

1:15 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Longden House. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

11:40 p.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Drew House. Campus Safety officers responding to a noise complaint found an unauthorized party in progress with alcohol present. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 28

12:40 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. Campus Safety on routine patrol found an unauthorized party in progress with alcohol present. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:10 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Main Campus Grounds. A stop sign was found near the area of the Ford Center for the Fine Arts.

1:38 a.m. INTOXICATED SUBJECT, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. An intoxicated subjected was assisted to their dorm by students and Campus Safety. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

2 a.m. THEFT, Drew House. A sign believed to be stolen property was recovered.

2:24 a.m. BURGLARY, Post Hall. The C-Store was entered after closing and items were taken.

5:10 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Raub House. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a detector malfunction. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

2:30 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Beta Theta Pi. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No cause was found for the alarm activation.

MARCH 29

1 a.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS, 265 S. Academy. A Galesburg resident came to the door and entered asking for money.

5:25 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Umbeck Science and Mathematics Center. A power cord was cut on a Coke machine.

11:35 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a dirty detector.

CANNABIS VIOLATION, Sigma Chi- 616 S. West. A bag containing a substance believed to be cannabis and a pipe were found during a fire alarm building check. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
