MARCH 27

11:46 p.m. INFORMATION, Off-Campus. Information was received regarding an off-campus incident.

MARCH 30

1:45 p.m. SAFETY CONCERN/HAZARD, 516 S. West. A detector was covered with a plastic bag. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

2:45 p.m. SAFETY CONCERN/HAZARD, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. A detector was covered with a plastic bag. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

3:30 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Hamblin Hall. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of smelling cigarette smoke in the building.

5:45 p.m. THREATS, Williston Hall. A student reported receiving threats from another student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 31

7:15 p.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Fleming Fieldhouse. A power cord was cut on a vending machine.

11:02 p.m. MISCHIEVIOUS CONDUCT, Phi Gamma Delta- 218 S. Cedar. A Campus Safety Officer on routine patrol observed a student entering through a second story window. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

APRIL 1

1:28 a.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS, 265 S. Academy. A Galesburg resident was arrested for criminal trespassing.

9:30 p.m. WATER LEAK, 240 W. Tompkins. A plumber was called in to repair a drain that was not working.

9:40 p.m. FIRE ALARM, 240 W. Tompkins. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by water leaking onto the fire alarm system equipment. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

11 p.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Umbeck Science and Mathematics Center. A power cord was cut on a vending machine. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

APRIL 2

5:25 p.m. INFORMATION, Post Hall. Campus Life was contacted for a student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

10:35 p.m. NOISE, Drew House. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.

11:40 p.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, 240 W. Tompkins. Students were observed with open alcohol during a routine patrol. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

11:45 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Hamblin Hall. A carbon monoxide detector malfunctioned.

APRIL 3

2:15 p.m. INFORMATION, Williston Hall. A student was referred to Campus Life.

11:50 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Elder House. Campus Safety received a report of suspicious activity. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

APRIL 4

12:05 a.m. NOISE, 675 S. West. Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:20 a.m. DISTURBANCE, 240 W. Tompkins. Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to complaints regarding an unauthorized party with alcohol present. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Hall. A fire extinguisher went missing.

1:05 a.m. MISCHIEVIOUS CONDUCT, Seymour Hall. A hallway was covered in styrofoam packing material.

1:40 a.m. FIRE ALARM, International House- 418 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by cooking.

3:55 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Seymour Hall. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student at the request of another student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

7:05 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Williston Hall. A laptop computer was damaged. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:15 p.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Williston Hall. Campus Safety checked on the well being of a student at the request of a family member. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

2 p.m. INFORMATION, Off Campus. A student was contacted regarding an earlier incident. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

5:40 p.m. MISCHIEVIOUS CONDUCT, Main Campus Grounds. A student was driving on a sidewalk in the center of campus. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

5:45 p.m. INFORMATION, ASC- 368 S. Prairie. A student was referred to the Office of Student Development.

APRIL 5

12:30 p.m. INFORMATION, Beta Theta Pi. A sign believed to be stolen property was recovered. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:35 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Elder House. A fire alarm was activated by burned popcorn.

8:10 p.m. CRIMINAL TRESPASS, 251 S. West. A student gained unauthorized access to another student’s room. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

9:45 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Seymour Hall. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by smoking in a student’s room. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

CANNABIS VIOLATION, Seymour Hall. A small pipe with suspected cannabis residue was confiscated during a fire alarm room check. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

THEFT, Seymour Hall. Signs from sprinkler control equipment were found in a student’s room during a fire alarm room check. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
