Sandburg Days

From April 22 through April 25, the Sandburg Days Festival of the Mind will once again bring a bounty of art, music, historical lectures and even a poetry slam to the downtown area. Events are free and open to everyone.

April 22

Earth Day Activities

Carl Sandburg 21st Annual Poetry Awards Ceremony

6:30 p.m., Carl Sandburg College, Building B, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd.

Festival Kickoff Reception to feature the film “A Visit with Carl Sandburg”

7 p.m., Carl Sandburg Historic Site Barn, 313 E. Third St.

Knox College Jazz Combo Performance

Photography Contest & Awards Reception
