OCTOBER 27

6:20 p.m. FIRE ALARM, International House-418 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

7:35 p.m. UNWANTED SUBJECT, Fleming Fieldhouse. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of unauthorized people using the fieldhouse.

9:50 p.m. INFORMATION, Hamblin Hall. The Galesburg Police Department was called regarding a disturbance in the Quick Sam’s parking lot.

OCTOBER 28

11:45 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, 697 S. West. A keg of beer and tapper were found in the basement during a building check. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

OCTOBER 29

6:55 p.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Sigma Chi. ADT reported trouble in the fire alarm system and a work order was submitted.

9:45 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Campus Safety received a report of a suspicious person in the area near the house.

10:58 p.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Post Hall. The door vent on the lobby rest room was kicked out.

OCTOBER 30

1:05 a.m. MEDICAL, Seymour Hall. A student was transported to St. Mary’s Emergency Room for treatment. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

4:25 p.m. INFORMATION, ASC – 368 S. Prairie. Information was received regarding possible security issue.

6 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Hamblin Hall. The Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a hair dryer.

11:35 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, 260 W. Tompkins – Jazz House. A student reported a suspicious incident. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

OCTOBER 31

12:01 a.m. MEDICAL, Beta Theta Pi. A student was transported for treatment after inhaling an aerosol product. The Galesburg Police Department, Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service and Campus Safety responded. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:20 a.m. INFORMATION, Hamblin Hall. A toilet was leaking water. A plumber was called and a work order was submitted.

12:45 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, 284 W. Tompkins. Campus Safety responded to a report of a person making a possible threat to harm self. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:55 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Post Hall. A student was cited for underage drinking and the matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Human Rights Center. Campus Safety responded to a report of a person making a possible threat to harm self. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

1:15 a.m. INFORMATION, Jazz House. An event ended after a request for assistance from residents of the house.

1:50 a.m. INTOXICATED SUBJECT, Knox Jail. Campus Safety responded to a report of an intoxicated person. The person was escorted off campus after being checked by Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service.

2:15 a.m. 911 HANG UP, Williston Hall. The Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to an accidental 911 call.
