Campus Safety Log: Feb. 18-March 1

FEBRUARY 18

11:40 a.m. INFORMATION, S. West St. – 300 block. A person in a passing car fired a BB gun at a pedestrian, striking them in the ankle.

FEBRUARY 20

10:15 p.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Longden. A trouble alarm was activated by a dirty detector.

FEBRUARY 22

12:35 a.m. NOISE, 240 W Tompkins. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

FEBRUARY 24

10:55 p.m. MEDICAL, Seymour Hall. A student was transported for treatment of an illness.

FEBRUARY 25

8:07 a.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Peterson House. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm activated by a malfunction in the sytem. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

FEBRUARY 26

12:30 a.m. NOISE, 516 S. West. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects.

6:30 a.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Hall. A plumber was called in to repair a water leak in Dining Services.

FEBRUARY 27

12:30 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Peterson House. Officers on routine patrol observed an unregistered party in progress. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:55 a.m. THEFT, Seymour Hall. A bicycle was stolen from the area south of the Gizmo.

2:30 a.m. THEFT, Simonds. An iPod touch was reported stolen from a common area.

1 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Main Campus Grounds. A bicycle was left in the street near Herr Oil.

2:10 a.m. NOISE, Conger. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.

3 a.m. LOST OR MISPLACED ITEM, Conger. A cell phone was reported lost.

3:15 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Simonds. Campus Safety responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated subject passed out in Simonds. An underage student was found with alcohol during the call. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

FEBRUARY 28

5:35 a.m. MEDICAL, Post Hall. A student was transported for treatment of an illness. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

MARCH 1

1:40 a.m. FIRE ALARM MALFUNCTION. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm activated by a malfunction in the system. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

7:14 a.m. WATER LEAK, Aux Gym. A plumber was called in to repair a water leak.
