SEPTEMBER 26

10 p.m. CANNABIS VIOLATION, Drew. A report was received of cannabis smoke in a suite and room. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

SEPTEMBER 27

2:15 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Main Campus Grounds. Public Safety Building reported a suspicious phone call.

6:10 p.m. FIRE ALARM, International House – 418 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

SEPTEMBER 28

10:10 a.m. INFORMATION, 260 W. Tompkins. Campus Safety received a report of a suspicious person.

6:35 p.m. FIRE ALARM, 251 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by burned food.

11:30 p.m. UNSECURED DOOR, Main Campus Grounds. An unsecured door was found during a building check.

SEPTEMBER 29

6:16 a.m. FIRE ALARM, George Davis Hall. Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

2 p.m. INFORMATION, Main Campus Grounds. Information was received regarding a possible security issue.

7:34 p.m. FIRE ALARM, 260 W. Tompkins. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

10:30 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Sherwin. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by burnt popcorn.

SEPTEMBER 30

1:30 p.m. INFORMATION, Main Campus Grounds. Information was received regarding a possible security issue.

3 p.m. DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, Main Campus Grounds. An incident involving a Knox student occurred off-campus.

7:50 p.m. LOST OR MISPLACED ITEM, Science and Mathematics Center. An iPod and lab book were reported missing.

8:40 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Sellew. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

9:50 p.m. THEFT, Neal. Cash was taken from a purse in a suite common area.

11:55 p.m. INFORMATION, Phi Gamma Delta – 218 S. Cedar. Water leak. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

OCTOBER 1

12:15 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Furrow. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by smoking in a student room. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:40 a.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety responded to a report of a disturbance. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:50 a.m. NOISE, 697 S. West. Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

2:46 a.m. SEXUAL ASSAULT, Main Campus Grounds. Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to a report of unwanted sexual contact between two people.

3:30 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Drew. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

5:55 a.m. TROUBLE ALARM, 240 W. Tompkins. Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm activated by a dirty detector.

3:07 p.m. INFORMATION, Off-campus location. Campus Safety responded to an alarm at an off-campus location.

5:56 p.m. INFORMATION, Off-campus location. Campus Safety responded to an alarm at an off-campus location.

OCTOBER 2

12:01 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Beta House. A fire extinguisher was discharged. A work order was submitted.

1:30 a.m. FIRE, Seymour Hall. Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to the north side of Seymour Hall where mulch had ignited.

5:15 a.m. FIRE ALARM, 265 S. Academy. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a malfunction in the system. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

2:15 p.m. FIRE ALARM – MALFUNCTION, 265 S. Academy. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a malfunction in the system. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

OCTOBER 3

7:50 a.m. INFORMATION, George Davis Hall. A clock was reported missing from a classroom.
