APRIL 10
1 p.m. INFORMATION, Off-campus location. Suspicious activity was reported near campus.
3:07 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Sigma Nu. Galesburg Fire Department, Galesburg Police Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by cooking.
10:15 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Umbeck Science and Mathematics Center. Campus Safety responded to a report of a suspicious person in the building.
APRIL 11
2 p.m. INFORMATION, Main Campus Grounds. A student reported being a victim of identify theft.
4 p.m. INFORMATION, Off-campus location. An off-campus incident involved a Knox student.
7:33 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Sigma Nu. GFD and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.
11:25 p.m. UNSECURED DOOR, Umbeck Science and Mathematics Center. Unsecured doors were found during a building check.
APRIL 12
12:30 a.m. MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Neal. A student was smoking in a dorm room. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
APRIL 13
7:20 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Drew. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.
7:55 p.m. CANNABIS VIOLATION, Seymour Hall. Campus Safety responded to a report of smoking in the building. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
8:20 p.m. UNSECURED DOOR, Fleming Fieldhouse. Unsecured doors were found during a building check.
APRIL 14
12:40 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Main Campus Grounds. A bike was found outside of Seymour Library. The owner was contacted.
1:45 a.m. NOISE, Hamblin. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.
7:45 p.m. PUBLIC PROPERTY ACCIDENT, Ford Center for the Fine Arts (CFA). Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Services, GFD, GPD and Campus Safety responded to CFA, where a person had injured their knee.
10:55 p.m. DISTURBANCE, Alumni Hall. A Galesburg resident was arrested by the GPD with the assistance of Campus Safety Officers.
APRIL 15
12:20 a.m. NOISE, 616 S. West and 643 S. West. Public Safety Building received noise complaints from Galesburg residents. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
12:50 a.m. DISTURBANCE, intersection of Knox and West Street. A Knox student was arrested for disorderly conduct. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
2 a.m. MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Main Campus Grounds. Students were observed digging in the area of the quads. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
2:10 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, George Davis Hall. Planters, trash cans and benches were damaged outside the building.
3:50 a.m. THEFT, Tau Kappa Epsilon House. A grandfather clock, brass bells and fraternity paddles were stolen. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.
6:55 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Main Campus Grounds. A purse was found in the area of the quads. The owner was contacted.
2 p.m. THEFT, Main Campus Grounds. A cell phone, camera, iPod, cash, credit and debit cards were reported stolen from a purse. The matter was reported to the GPD.
APRIL 16
5:55 a.m. TROUBLE ALARM, Peterson House. A trouble alarm was received from the fire alarm system.
APRIL 17
5:55 a.m. UNSECURED DOOR, Seymour Hall. Unsecured doors were found during a building check.
