George Bacon, oldest Knox student, dies at 80
'Lifelong learner' attended Carl Sandburg, Knox after retirement
George Bacon, Knox’s oldest student, died Saturday, June 30, 2012. Bacon was known as a lifelong learner who graduated from Carl Sandburg College in 2010 and had been taking courses at Knox since then. He was 80.
