Campus Safety Log: Sept. 26 – Oct. 2

SEPT. 26

11:30 a.m., SEXUAL ASSAULT, Off-Campus — A student reported an incident of unwanted sexual contact. The matter was referred to the Galesburg Police Department.

11:40 a.m., DOMESTIC, Main Campus Grounds — Campus Safety received a report of possible threats made to a Knox employee.

10:30 p.m., THEFT, Fleming Fieldhouse — A student reported the contents of their purse stolen.

SEPT. 28

8:15 p.m., FIRE ALARM, Sigma Nu — The Galesburg Fire Department, GPD and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a student smoking in their room.

SEPT. 29

1:20 a.m., MEDICAL, Fifty-Year Club — Galesburg Health and Safety, GFD, GPD and Campus Safety responded to a report of an unresponsive subject in front of the Fifty-Year Club. The subject was transported for treatment at a local hospital.

11:15 a.m., UNWANTED SUBJECT, Post Hall — GPD and Campus Safety responded to a report of a subject making vulgar comments to a student. The subject was located and told to stay off campus.

11:20 p.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Peterson House — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of an unauthorized party with alcohol in progress.

10:30 p.m., INTOXICATED SUBJECT, Seymour Hall — An intoxicated subject was transported for treatment after being found unresponsive.

SEPT. 30

3:20 p.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Conger Hall — A student reported damage to window blinds.
