Campus Safety Log: Oct. 29 – Nov. 4

Oct. 29

12 p.m., SEXUAL ASSAULT, Main campus grounds — Campus Safety responded to an incident of unwelcome sexual contact between two persons known to each other.

Oct. 31

4:40 p.m., THEFT, Main campus grounds – A Knox banner was stolen from the area of Berrien and West Streets.

7:05 p.m.,THEFT, Post Hall – Campus Safety officers responded to a report of a stolen DVD player in the Post Hall lobby. The case is still under investigation.

Nov. 1

12:35 a.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Post Hall  —Campus Safety responded to a report of underage drinking. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:20 p.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Old Main — A student was observed writing on the walls of the men’s restroom.

Nov. 2

9:30 a.m., WELL-BEING CHECK, Main campus grounds – Campus Safety checked the well-being of a student at the request of a family member.

Nov. 3

10 a.m., MEDICAL, Seymour Hall — A student was transported to the hospital for treatment of an injury.

Nov. 4

1 a.m., FIRE ALARM, Drew — Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by smoking in a student room. The matter was referred to OSD.

01:30 a.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Sellew – A student was transported for treatment of overconsumption of alcohol. The matter was referred to OSD.

2 a.m., INFORMATION, 516 S. West —Campus Safety responded to a report that pictures were torn off of a wall in an unsecured student room.
