Friday opportunity to showcase talent

DanceRinging in the new school year, the annual Prairie Fire Talent Show, hosted by Union Board, will welcome students back with an opportunity to strut their stuff on Friday, Sept. 20.

The show will run from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Kresge Recital Hall, where performers can sign up on the spot. Another option is to email Dana Pierce, Community and Entertainment Chair to sign up prior to the event.

Performances will run five minutes long maximum and all contestants will be entered to win raffle prizes.

Kiannah Sepeda-Miller is a senior majoring in anthropology-sociology and double minoring in journalism and English literature. She began writing for TKS during her freshman year and served as co-mosaic editor as a sophomore. Kiannah studied and reported in Morocco under Round Earth Media in the winter and spring of 2015 and was subsequently published in Al Jazeera. She completed an editorial internship at New York magazine the following summer.
