Prairie Fire men’s soccer prevails over Lawrence 1-0

Prairie Fire men’s soccer beat out Lawrence University 1-0 Sunday. They faced the Vikings in their second Midwest Conference game of the season.

Senior Max Gatyas scored the only goal of the game on a penalty kick, bringing the Prairie Fire its ninth straight win of the season and first against Lawrence since 2001.

The Prairie Fire will face Cornell College at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at home.
