SEPT. 24

12:40 a.m., LOST ITEM, main campus grounds — A black iPhone was reported lost near the track.

SEPT. 22

11:50 p.m., NOISE, Conger Hall — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.

1:10 a.m., INFORMATION, main campus grounds — A student reported unwanted contact from another student. The incident was referred to the Office of Student Development.

12:20 a.m., NOISE, main campus grounds — Campus Safety assisted the Galesburg Police Department in dispersing a large group of students near First and Cedar streets. The incident was referred to OSD.

12:35 a.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of water dumped in a room.

 

SEPT. 21

5:31 p.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Phi Gamma Delta — Students were observed with open alcohol on the porch. The incident was referred to OSD.

11:50 a.m., MEDICAL, main campus grounds — A student was transported by ambulance from the soccer field for treatment of a sports-related injury. The incident was referred to OSD.

 

SEPT. 19

7:30 p.m., ANIMAL COMPLAINT, main campus grounds — Campus Safety responded to a report of a squirrel trapped in the netting of a batting cage.

12:05 p.m., THEFT, SMC —  A bike was reported stolen near the E-Wing entrance.

 

SEPT. 18

11:30 a.m., INFORMATION, off-campus location — Information was received regarding a traffic accident involving a vehicle rented by the college.

 

SEPT. 17

6:17 p.m., 911 HANG UP, Williston Hall — The Public Safety Building reported a 911 hang up call from an outside emergency phone. No problems were found in the area.

10:40 a.m., SAFETY HAZARD, Sigma Nu — A smoke detector was found covered by a plastic bag. The incident was referred to OSD.

 

SEPT. 16

2:15 a.m., INFORMATION, Tau Kappa Epsilon — GPD was on campus to get help identifying a person injured off campus with no identification. The incident was referred to OSD.

 

SEPT. 14

5 p.m., CRIMINAL DAMAGE, main campus grounds — The Health Services sign was pulled out of the ground.

 

SEPT. 13

5:55 p.m., NOISE, Campbell Hall — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.

4:26 p.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Kappa Kappa Gamma — A suspicious vehicle was reported to Campus Safety.

 

SEPT. 12

11 a.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, 200 block South West Street — Campus Safety received a report of a suspicious subject who approached a student in an older, gray, four-door vehicle.

 

SEPT. 11

6:35 p.m., CANNABIS VIOLATION, 240 W. Tompkins St. — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of a cannabis odor in a hallway.

12:30 a.m., INFORMATION, Tau Kappa Epsilon — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of underage drinking. The incident was referred to OSD.

 

SEPT. 10

11:45 p.m., MEDICAL, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of a subject who was not responding to attempts to wake them up. The incident was referred to OSD.

11:15 p.m., CANNABIS VIOLATION, Neifert Hall — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of a cannabis odor in a suite. The incident was referred to OSD.

3:15 p.m., INFORMATION, ABLE House — A complaint was received of items damaged while in storage. The incident was referred to OSD.

 

SEPT. 9

2:30 p.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Phi Gamma Delta — Flat tires found on two vehicles were reported as possible vandalism.

8:30 p.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, main campus grounds — A report was received of two juveniles yelling obscenities at people as they crossed campus.
