Photos: Prairie Fire football dominated by Cornell College

The Prairie Fire fell to Cornell College at Saturday’s Homecoming game. The fire had just come off a win against Beloit College and were hoping to hand Cornell a second defeat.

Senior Derek Mortenson and sophomore Mathew Hemmingsen put Knox on the board in the first half, but the Prairie Fire couldn’t compete with the Rams as they pushed backed in the second half.

The Prairie Fire face undefeated Illinois College on the road Saturday, Oct. 26.
