Man arrested in Galesburg with 145 pounds of pot

The Galesburg Police Department arrested a man on Interstate I-74 reportedly in possession of 145 pounds of cannabis Monday, according to a press release.

The 69-year-old man, David G. Joseph of West Virginia, was caught during a traffic stop. He was arrested and charged with manufacture and trafficking of over 5,000 grams of cannabis.

He appeared in Knox County court on Wednesday, and his bond was set at $150,000.
