Campus Safety Log: Two thefts from Memorial Gym

April 20

8:14 p.m., THEFT, campus — Campus Safety took a report of a theft of TKS newspapers. A perpetrator was identified, and the incident was referred to OSD.

6:37 p.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Raub Hall — An alcohol violation was reported. Paraphernalia was confiscated when Campus Safety arrived, and the incident was referred to OSD.

4:35 a.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Seymour Library — Students were discovered in the library after hours. They left without incident, and the matter was referred to OSD.

April 17

8:13 p.m., DISTURBANCE, campus — Campus Safety took a report of a driver yelling at students crossing South Street. An investigation is ongoing.

2:30 a.m., UNWANTED SUBJECT, Founders Lab — Campus Safety responded to a report of an unwanted subject in Founders Lab. Arrests were made.

April 16

3:05 p.m., CRIMINAL DAMAGE, ABLE House — Campus Safety took a report of graffiti on the steps of ABLE House. A work order was submitted.

April 15

3 p.m., THEFT, Memorial Gym — Knox College athletic apparel was stolen from a trophy case at Memorial Gym.

10:20 p.m., FIRE ALARM, Longden-Griffith Hall — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by cannabis smoke. The incident was referred to OSD.

12:55 p.m., CANNABIS VIOLATION, Raub Hall — Campus Safety took a report of a cannabis violation. The incident was referred to OSD.

April 14

1 p.m., THEFT, Memorial Gym — Basketball backboards were stolen from storage at Memorial Gym. An investigation is ongoing.
