Campus Safety Log: Suspicious person and bicycle theft reported

Nov. 10

7 a.m., THEFT, Campus — Campus Safety took a report of a bicycle theft from a campus bike rack. Notifications were made.

Nov. 8

12:10 a.m., ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, Sherwin Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of a broken window in a residential unit. The damage confirmed, but the was cause unknown. A work order was submitted.

6:22 p.m., INFORMATION, Campus — Campus Safety responded to a report of harassing text messages.

8:45 p.m., INFORMATION, Furrow East Hall — Campus Safety discovered during a routine patrol a student in emotional distress. The well being was confirmed during a second visit at a later time.

10:35 p.m. INFORMATION, Post Hall — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of harassing text messages. The criminal violation was unfounded and notifications were made.

Nov. 7

10:17 p.m., ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Longden Hall — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by unknown reasons. The system was reset.

10:18 p.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, CFA — Campus Safety responded to a report of a suspicious person in an administrative building. The person was gone upon Campus Safety’s arrival.

Nov. 6

5:06 p.m., CHECK THE WELL BEING, Longden Hall — Campus Safety checked the well being of a student at the request of a staff person. The student’s well being was confirmed and notifications were made.
