Campus Safety Log: Alcohol violations and criminal damage highlight this week’s log

Jan. 19

10:50 a.m. TROUBLE ALARM Tau Kappa Epsilon — Campus Safety responded to a trouble alarm caused by a disconnected smoke detector. The detector was replaced.

10:30 p.m. MEDICAL, 168 S. Academy — Campus Safety responded to a student requiring medical attention; the student was transported to St. Mary’s via Campus Safety and notifications were made.

Jan. 18

1:00 a.m. INFORMATION, 480 S. West Street — Campus Safety reported an interaction with an uncooperative student while clearing guests from an unauthorized party.

10:00 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, 480 S. West Street — Campus Safety discovered during routine patrol an unauthorized party with alcohol in a residential building; guests were asked to leave.

10:30 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, Memorial Gym — Campus Safety opened an investigation into a discharged fire extinguisher; the investigation continues.

Jan. 16

5:25 p.m.,UNWANTED SUBJECT, 480 S. West Street — Campus Safety responded to a report of an unwanted subject in a residential unit. Contact was made, the subject departed the unit and notifications were made.

10:20 p.m., NOISE COMPLAINT, Campus — Campus Safety responded to a report of subjects yelling profanities on campus; subjects were gone on arrival.

Jan. 13

12:40 p.m., THREATS, Campus — Campus Safety and GPD responded to reports of threats of bodily harm made by a student to another student. Arrest were made, notifications were made.
