Unauthorized party, student disturbances highlight this week’s campus safety log

Feb. 16

6:31 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Seymour Union — Campus Safety responded to a disturbance as a result of a student violation of a ban from a campus facility; student vacated facility.

Feb. 15

11:55 a.m. INFORMATION, Campus — Campus Safety was notified by OSD of an order of no contact between two students

1:45 p.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, 240 W. Tompkins —Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by hookah smoke.

Feb. 14

6:33 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Seymour Union — Campus Safety responded to a disturbance between a student and staff member.

10:00 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, 480 S. West Street — Campus Safety discovered during routine patrol an unauthorized party with alcohol in a residential building; guests were asked to leave.

Feb. 12

12:30 p.m. INFORMATION, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety investigated a report of a male student in a woman’s restroom. Nefarious intent was ruled out.

5:31 p.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Phi Gamma Delta — Campus Safety discovered during a service call violations of alcohol prohibitions in a residential building.

Feb. 12

SEXUAL MISCONDUCT, Unknown — Campus Safety was notified of a possible allegation of sexual misconduct involving two unknown students, at an unknown date, time and location; investigation pending.
