Campus Safety Log: Multiple accidental fire alarms in residence halls

May 19

1:24 a.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, SMC — Campus Safety responded to a a fire alarm caused by steam in a mechanical room.

May 18

8:15 p.m. ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, 251 S. West Street — Campus Safety responded to a report of a window damaged by strong wind.

May 17

8:50 a.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Drew Hall — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm with unknown cause.

May 16

7:48 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Post Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of an individual sleeping in a stairwell. The individual was identified as a student.

8:33 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Post Hall — Campus Safety, OSD and GPD responded to a disturbance in a residential suite.

May 15

7:40 a.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Phi Gamma Delta — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by cannabis smoke. The system was reset.

May 13

10:50 a.m. THEFT, Neal Hall — Campus Safety took a report of a missing or stolen bicycle. The bicycle was subsequently located.
