Campus Safety Log: Student involved in car-bicycle accident

Sept. 22

4:41 a.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Beta Theta Pi — Campus Safety and GFD responded to a fire alarm caused by an overheating fan. The fan was removed and the system was reset.

Sept. 21

4 p.m. MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety, GHAS and GPD responded to a car-bicycle accident involving a student. No medical assistance was requested.

Sept. 19

1:43 a.m. ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, Hamblin Hall — Campus Safety took a report of damage to an elevator caused by rough handling.

9 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety responded to a report of a racist slur shouted at students from a passing vehicle.

9:55 p.m. INFORMATION, Sigma Nu — Campus Safety responded to a report that a banned individual may be on campus. The subject was not located.

Sept. 18

8:10 p.m. MEDICAL, Campus — Campus Safety received information of a student being treated at St. Mary for an animal bite.

Sept. 17

11:16 p.m. INFORMATION, Campus — Campus Safety received a report of an anonymous online post believed to contain self-harm ideation. Notifications were made.
