Campus Safety Log: Campus Safety responded to a report of battery to a student

Oct. 13

9:05 a.m. MEDICAL, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety, GFD and GHAS responded to a student requiring medical attention. The student was transported to St. Mary’s by ambulance.

Oct. 11

3:15 a.m. NOISE COMPLAINT, Hamblin Hall — Campus Safety responded to a noise complaint.

2:40 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Seymour Library — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of non-students engaging in suspicious activity. Contact was made with the non-students who were asked to leave campus after they were questioned.

11:03 p.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, 251 S. West St. — Campus Safety and GFD responded to a fire alarm caused by a combination of cannabis and cigarette smoke. The cannabis was confiscated, the area was ventilated and the system was reset.

Oct. 7

7:49 p.m. BATTERY, Campus — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of battery to a student. Notifications were made.

8:39 p.m. INFORMATION, 284 W. Tompkins — Campus Safety took a report of a possible violation of a no-contact directive. Notifications were made.

Oct. 6

4:35 p.m. INFORMATION, SMC — Campus Safety assisted GPD with a dispute between two family members.
