Campus Safety Log: Student approached by subject in monkey costume

Oct. 24

12:25 p.m. UNWANTED SUBJECT, Seymour Union — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a suspicious behavior by a non-student. The subject was asked to leave campus.

9:50 p.m. THEFT, Campus — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of a student who had money taken from them by a non-student through verbal deception.

Oct. 23

1:57 a.m. INTENTIONAL FIRE ALARM, 240 W. Tompkins — Campus Safety and GFD responded to a fire alarm caused by an intentional pull station activation. No fire or other hazard was found.

Oct. 22

1:30 a.m. THEFT, Seymour Library — Campus Safety took a report of a stolen bicycle.

Oct. 21

1:55 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety took a report of a vehicle behaving suspiciously on the campus perimeter.

8:33 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of a subject in a monkey costume approaching a student.

Oct. 20

12:57 a.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle repeatedly driving around the campus area. The vehicle was stopped and identified.
