Campus Safety Log: Campus Safety responded to students smoking cannabis in elevator

Nov. 2

8:20 p.m. THEFT, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety took a report of a missing or stolen fire extinguisher.

Oct. 31

12:40 a.m. Cannabis Violation, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety responded to several students smoking cannabis inside an elevator.

4:43 p.m. INFORMATION, Campus — Campus Safety attempted to resolve a student’s transportation concern.

6 p.m. INFORMATION, Hamblin Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of an elevator malfunction.

7:05 p.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, 251 S. West St. — Campus Safety and GFD responded to a fire alarm caused by a boiling pot of water which had been left to go dry.

Oct. 30

2 p.m. THEFT, Seymour Hall — Campus Safety received a report of missing or stolen shoes. The theft was confirmed, shoes were located, recovered and returned to the owner.

Oct. 29

9:30 a.m. THEFT, Campus — Campus Safety was advised of a stolen iPad while on routine patrol. The iPad was subsequently located, recovered and returned to its owner.

Oct. 28

8:50 a.m. THEFT, Memorial Gym — Campus Safety took a report of money missing from the wallets of staff members.
