Campus Safety Log: Campus Safety confiscated Airsoft rifles and crossbow

Nov. 9

8 a.m. THEFT, CFA — Campus Safety responded to a report of money missing from a cash box.

8:05 a.m. COLLEGE WEAPON VIOLATION — Campus Safety confiscated what appeared to be two Airsoft rifles and a crossbow from a residence.

9:35 p.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Neifert Hall — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by burnt popcorn.

10:20 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Post Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of a suspicious non-student. Subject was located, identified as a guest of a student and advised to return to his residence.

Nov. 7

12:30 a.m. DISTURBANCE, Longden Hall — Campus Safety responded to a dispute between student residents. The students were separated.

Nov. 6

1:35 a.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Williston Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of unknown students knocking on residence doors. The building was checked and contact was made with the complainants.

11:30 p.m. COLLEGE WEAPON VIOLATION, Sigma Nu — Campus Safety located what appeared to be an Airsoft rifle in a campus residence while on routine duties. The weapon was confiscated and notifications were made.
