Campus Safety Log: Suspicious person, loud music in this year’s campus safety log

April 17

4:30 a.m. DISTURBANCE, 251 S. West St. — Campus Safety responded to a report of an individual causing a disturbance outside of a campus residence. The individual was identified as a student and assisted in getting to his room.

6:02 p.m. ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, Drew Hall — Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by cannabis smoke. A covered smoke detector was also observed.

April 15

3:30 a.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Raub Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of a suspicious person near a campus residence. It was determined that the subject had departed campus.

9 a.m. MISCHEVIOUS CONDUCT, Seymour Union — Campus Safety took a report of a defaced  organizational sign.

3:01 p.m. TELEPHONE HARASSMENT, Sherwin Hall — Campus Safety received a report of threatening text messages sent to a student’s phone.

April 14

9:07 p.m. NOISE COMPLAINT, Knosher Bowl — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a complaint of loud music at the Knosher Bowl.

9:27 p.m. INFORMATION, Campus — Campus Safety observed an individual walking through a campus parking lot who was believed to be banned from campus.
