Students to stage anti-Trump walk-out and rally

Students have organized an anti-Trump walk-out and rally in response to Donald Trump being named the next president of the United States early this morning.

The group of students will meet today on the Gizmo Patio at 1 p.m. and the event has been organized through Facebook.

The event description says: “March with us. Walk out of your classes if you have them. We are angry. Be angry. There are lives at stake here. Let Galesburg and Knox know that you are NOT happy. This is NOT a victory. This is shameful. This is a disgrace.”

After the march, students plan to hold a dialogue in the Taylor Lounge.
