FEBRUARY 7

10:43 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Furrow. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a pull station.

FEBRUARY 8

8:40 a.m. MEDICAL, Main Campus Grounds. A student was transported for treatment after falling on the ice.

1 p.m. PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT, Fleming Fieldhouse. A car was backed into and damaged.

1:20 p.m. INFORMATION, Old Main. Campus Safety responded to a report of a person needing assistance.

10:10 p.m. SAFETY CONCERN/HAZARD, Umbeck Science and Mathematics Center. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a report of a gas odor.

11:42 p.m. NOISE, Seymour Hall. Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud subjects.

FEBRUARY 9

12:33 a.m. INFORMATION, Memorial Gym. Students gained unauthorized access to the pool. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

8:08 p.m. FIRE ALARM, 240 W. Tompkins. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by burned food.

8:38 p.m. CANNABIS VIOLATION, Seymour Hall. A substance believed to be cannabis was found in a student room after a complaint was received about cannabis smell. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

FEBRUARY 10

4:04 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Tau Kappa Epsilon House. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

FEBRUARY 11

9:15 p.m. FIRE ALARM – MALFUNCTION, Sigma Nu. Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by a malfunction in the system. A work order was submitted to correct the problem.

FEBRUARY 12

4 a.m. ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Tau Kappa Epsilon House. An underage student was transported for treatment of over consumption of alcohol. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

11:22 a.m. FIRE ALARM, 675 S. West. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated by burned food.

10:30 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY, George Davis Hall. A white plastic chair was found outside of George Davis Hall.

FEBRUARY 13

12 a.m. THEFT, Off Campus location. Dorm keys, a debit card and a bracelet were taken from a student’s coat at an off-campus event.

12:05 a.m. CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Neal. Pipes from a sprinkler system were pulled loose from their mountings and struck a student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

6 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, Seymour Hall. A laptop was left in Sandburg Lounge.

11:50 a.m. FIRE ALARM, Conger. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

6:20 p.m. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Main Campus Grounds. A suspicious person was reported to Campus Safety.

6:30 p.m. WELL BEING CHECK, ASC – 368 S. Prairie. Campus Safety checked on a student’s well being at the request of a family member. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

10:30 p.m. FIRE ALARM, Phi Gamma Delta – 218 S. Cedar. Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm activated by a room detector. No apparent cause was found for the alarm activation.

FEBRUARY 14

1:12 a.m. WELL BEING CHECK, Main Campus Grounds. Campus Safety checked on a student’s well being at the request of another student. The matter was referred to the Office of Student Development.

FEBRUARY 15

9:32 a.m. FIRE, Hamblin. Galesburg Fire Department and Campus Safety responded to an alarm activated when a towel was burned on a stovetop.
