TKE’s back lawn was covered with people, armed with their cardboard and thick tape, ready to construct their entries in Habitat for Humanity’s Shanty Town. The activity took place on Monday and was a fundraiser for Habitat to raise money for building houses, buying supplies, and paying mortgages for Galesburg residents.

“Journeys” explores meaning within dance

Though it is almost always entertaining to watch dancers move together in the same space on a stage, the choreographers featured in “Journeys” added another level of emotional depth to their pieces. Knox students took a crash course in the ways of divination last Saturday in the Compass room. Sponsored by the Pagan/Student Alliance on campus, the event went for two hours as students learned the background and two techniques of divination. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of paganism and disprove stereotypes of pagans on campus.
