Recently, the Prairie Fire offense has taken on stagnant characteristics, being shut out in three of their last four games coming into the final week of play. That trend continued as Knox dropped a 2-0 decision to Beloit College in Saturday’s rematch of a tie game last year, and an 8-1 verdict in Tuesday afternoon’s contest against NAIA opponent Ashford University.

Last weekend, the Knox College women’s soccer team lost two Midwest Conference (MWC) games in Wisconsin and ever since, they have lost.

Last Saturday, Oct. 18, the men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in their first of two home meets, the Prairie Fire Invite.

This was a small meet with only three teams competing. Both of Knox’s teams took second. Top runners for Knox were senior Karen Brophy who finished fourth and senior Mike Dooley who placed eleventh.
