Six weeks into winter term, it’s only natural to be bored with the caf. So I will be compiling some recipes regularly for TKS. Add some variety to your meals with these weekly recipes you can make in the caf in less than ten minutes.
Today’s feature: Basic Quesadilla
1 tortilla wrap
slices of green bell pepper
slices of onion (red or yellow)
shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Prep time: five minutes
Spread out the peppers, onions, and cheese onto half the wrap. Fold the wrap in half, so all the ingredients are sandwiched in between. Heat in Panini press for roughly four minutes or until cheese is melted and top is golden-brown. Cut into triangle wedges. Enjoy with pico de gallo and sour cream!
Extras: Add sliced jalapeños, banana peppers, or olives for an extra punch of flavor.
