Campus Safety Log: Prank gone wrong results in water damage

4:59 p.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, main campus grounds — A crossing sign on South Street was tampered with.

4:30 p.m., LOST ITEM, main campus grounds — A student reported a lost wallet.

OCT. 14

5 p.m., MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, T. Fleming Fieldhouse — A parked car was struck by another vehicle.

4:30 p.m., MEDICAL, 175 W. Knox St. — A student was transported to the emergency room for treatment. The incident was referred to the Office of Student Development.

OCT. 13

3:20 p.m., THEFT, Sigma Nu — A laptop computer was reported taken from a common area.

2:58 a.m., DISTURBANCE, Tau Kappa Epsilon — Campus Safety responded to a report of subjects arguing and fighting outside of TKE. Subjects had dispersed on arrival.

12:40 a.m., CRIMINAL DAMAGE, Seymour Hall — A student room received water damage from a prank. The incident was referred to OSD.

12:10 a.m., MISCHIEVOUS CONDUCT, Alumni Hall — Campus Safety responded to a report of subjects inside the construction area fence around Alumni Hall.

OCT. 11

11 p.m., ALCOHOL VIOLATION, Post Hall — Campus Safety responded to a request for assistance with an intoxicated person. The incident was referred to OSD.

11:45 a.m., MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT, South and West streets — A car on South Street collided with a student on a bicycle in a crosswalk at West Street. Galesburg police are investigating the incident.

OCT. 8

6:22 p.m., NOISE, Williston Hall — Campus Safety responded to a complaint of loud music.

11:30 a.m., UNSECURED DOOR, Old Jail — An unsecured door was reported to Campus Safety.

10:25 a.m., PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT, main campus grounds — A person was injured in a bike accident.
