Campus Safety Log: Fraternity house broken into

Oct. 19

1:15 a.m., CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, Phi Gamma Delta ­— Campus Safety was responding to a trouble alarm when damage to college property was discovered.

7:15 a.m., INFORMATION, Simonds Hall — Campus Safety took a report of a damaged clothing item left in a suite bathroom.

8:45 a.m., CANNABIS VIOLATION, 240 Tompkins — Campus Safety discovered a cannabis violation during a fire alarm. The violation was confirmed and the cannabis paraphernalia was confiscated.

9 p.m, INFORMATION, Conger Hall — Campus Safety and GPD responded to a third party report that a student expressed concerns about his or her own thoughts. The situatin was investigated and notifications were made.

Oct. 18

8:45 a.m., ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM, 240 Tompkins —  Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm caused by cigarette smoke; a covered smoke detector was also discovered. The system was reset.

Oct. 16

7:46 p.m., NOISE, Neifert Hall — Campus Safety responded to a loud noise complaint. The violation was confirmed, and the music was turned down.

Oct. 14

8:26 p.m., SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT, Campus — Campus Safety responded to a report of suspicious social media posts. The situation was investigated.

2:31 a.m., CRIMINAL TRESPASS, 480 West Street ­— Campus Safety and GPD responded to a report of unwanted subjects at a college function; one of the subjects is currently banned from the college and was arrested for trespass.
